Taking Part
There are several ways of taking part in HYDRALAB.
Our bi-annual large HYDRALAB III events are used to foster a culture of cooperation. These events link all activities within HYDRALAB III through meetings and workshops related to the JRA’s and the guidelines. They are used to disseminate the results and promote best practice among the HYDRALAB participants, European research community and International research community. During these events all participants, associated participant and invited experts are able to share their knowledge and experiences through discussions and presentations. Furthermore, these events will be used for interactions between senior researchers and the next generation by organising workshop that are specifically aimed at these young hydraulic experimental researchers. Participation is on invitation. If you are interested, please contact the Hydralab coordinator.
Another possibility of taking part in HYDRALAB is by making use of the Transnational Access program. It offers research groups, that normally do not have access to unique or rare experimental facilities, the opportunity to carry out their research in selected facilities at different institutes across Europe. State-of-the-art measuring instruments, data-acquisition and processing systems are at their disposal, as well as modern support facilities. Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment, because all available access days within Hydralab III have already been granted.
